9. ER-diagram editor

Tool is used to create and edit ER-diagrams of databases.

Main functions:

  • Creating and editing an ER-diagram;

  • Generating an SQL script to create the tables represented in the diagram;

  • Reverse engineering an existing database into an ER diagram, with optional filtering of the object list by name and type;

  • Working with views, global temporary tables, and system tables;

  • Building logical relationships between database objects (import from JSON) [1];

  • Exporting the diagram to various formats (PNG, JPG, SVG, Mermaid, draw.io) and exporting logical relationships to JSON..
